History TapNo. 15

How to play

Every day brings five famous places and moments: two or three from American history and two or three world events, from battles and revolutions to World Cup finals and festivals. Some days, one of them happened on today’s date.

  1. Drop a pin where it is or where it happened. Drag to spin the globe, and pinch or scroll to zoom in for a closer pin.
  2. Lock in your guess. The closer your pin, the more points, up to 100 a round.
  3. See the answer on the map, with when it opened or happened and a fact or two worth knowing.

Rounds get harder as you go, and later rounds count for more (×1, ×1.5, ×2, ×2.5, ×3), for a best possible score of 1,000.

A new puzzle unlocks at midnight, your time.
